Dear Mr Willie Viljoen,

During 2015 Eskom entered into a contract with MWC, through the Eskom Engineering Panel, for the development of an Integrated Project Controls Methodology based on earned value management principles that can be applied in an owner's environment, in accordance with the relevant best practices within the industry. This included the development of a Project Controls framework, procedures, standards and standards that integrate the application of the methodology with the Eskom tool set landscape.
It was also required to assist Eskom subject matter experts with development of the process capability that included the setting up, monitoring and controlling with change control and close out of project controls.
MWC has also delivered on the development of a 4 day fundamentals training course, aligned with the developed methodology that is registered at the Eskom Academy of Learning (EAL).
As the team lead for the project I hereby acknowledge MWC, on behalf of Eskom EPMO, for successfully delivering on the agreed scope of work with their team of professionals.

Yours sincerely,

Managing Director of Marwillcor Project Control Services (Pty) Ltd., Willie J Viljoen, specialising in Earned Value Management Principles, was scheduled to facilitate a workshop on "Project Management for Major Power Generation Projects in Africa" at the African Utility Week, held at the ICC in Cape Town on 14 March 2011. Here is a testimonial regarding the success of AUW and Willie J Viljoen's presentation:

Dear Willie, I wanted to take this opportunity to write to you to thank you for your contribution to the African Utility Week. The event this year had more than 2500 people from over 50 countries that attended the conference and walked the exhibition floor. The feedback about the programme has been very positive and has highlighted once again, how important the contribution of people such as you is to the success of the event. I am grateful we have had the opportunity to collaborate with you to bring this strategic event to Africa. Thank you for your input both prior to and during the event. I sincerely hope that African Utility Week was both an enjoyable and strategic experience for you and your colleagues. Please keep in touch and look us up when you are next in Cape Town. I look forward to working with you in the future and hope to see you in Johannesburg next year! Best wishes.
