The holding company, Marwillcor (Pty) Ltd, was established in 1982 by Director and Founder, Willie Viljoen. In 2000, Marwillcor Project Control Services (Pty) Ltd was created as a subsidiary of Marwillcor, which focuses on delivering ©World Class Project Controls® based on Earned Value Management Principles, as well as providing competent staff to major mining, petro-chemical, and construction companies. In 2012, Marwillcor Project Control Services was rebranded to MWC Project Control Services (Pty) Ltd to stay current and to streamline its business. About Willie Viljoen
Willie Viljoen is a Director of MWC, and has been since 1987. Currently he is going into retirement as a black-youth Skills Development Mentor at MWC.
He has more than 35 years' experience in project controls, covering mining, petro-chemical, power generation, and nuclear projects. Since 2005 Willie has attended various international conferences on Earned Value Management and has brought internationally recognised best practices to South Africa. He currently specialises in setting-up Project Controls based on Earned Value Management Principles on large projects in South Africa. He is also a consultant to most major mining houses, and petro-chemical companies in SA.
Willie has held various senior positions during his career:
1984 - 1987: Director of Group 5 Projects Construction.

1987 - date: Director of Marwillcor (Pty) Ltd (MWC).

2003 - 2004: Worked in collaboration with Dr David Milne of David Milne & Associates to apply and assess Earned Value progress and performance measurement on major projects in South Africa.

2004: Appointed as a member of the PMSA Standards Generation Body - a Government Gazette Appointment.

2004 - 2005: Served on the board as Director of the Cost Engineering Association of South Africa (CEASA).
Willie presented several papers and workshops on the subject of Earned Value:
2008: AACEI's World Conference in Toronto.

2009: PMSA's Annual Conference in Cape Town.

2012: ICEC World Conference in Durban.

2012: Partnering with PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC) on the subject 'Earned Value Management'.
About Sean J. Koeberg
Since mid-2017 Sean has been the Managing Director of MWC.
He has an advanced diploma in project management and is an entrepreneur, managing several engineering and industrial businesses. He has more than 10 years’ experience in progress performance measures, contract management, contract dispute resolutions, and contract negotiations. Sean is a Subject Matter Expert on NEC and FIDIC contracting arrangements. His practical experience includes process plant and equipment on renewal energy projects, nuclear power stations, coal fired power stations, and the like.
About Willem Viljoen
Willem is a Lead Project Planner and Primavera Specialist with 11 years’ experience in his field. He has experience in project planning on multi-discipline projects, as well as providing Primavera software consulting and training services to major companies in the Oil and Gas, Power Utility, Engineering and Construction Industries. Willem is an Earned Value Professional (EVP), as well as a Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP), both statuses he acquired from the AACEI; he also has a B.Tech degree from the Tshwane University of Technology. Willem played a vital role in compiling MWC’s Methodology ‘Project Controls based on Earned Value Management Principles’.
About Sannette Viljoen
Sannette has a Bachelors in Business Communication and is also an AACEI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Earned Value Professional (EVP), and an AACEI Certified Cost Professional (CCP), specialising in Project Controls based on Earned Value Management Principles. Sannette has more than 20 years’ experience in cost engineering and cost control, project planning and schedule management, WBSs with cost-, schedule- and reporting system integration, change management and control, project controls, setting-up and tracking of earned value management milestones, setting-up of performance measurement baselines (PMBs), and specialising in month-end progress and -dash board reporting for executive management. Sannette played an integral part in compiling MWC’s Methodology ‘Project Controls based on Earned Value Management Principles’.
About Catherine van Aarde
Catherine manages the MWC Human Resources, Salaries and Debtors Department. She is responsible for client liaison on behalf of MWC, handling Professional Service Contracts and quotes between MWC and its clients. Catherine also manages the MWC payroll system and salary related matters for MWC's subcontracted staff, as well as its full-time employees.
About Maggie Lesibana Lamola
Maggie is the Training Coordinator; booking training facilities complete with food and beverage requirements, registering delegates, and assisting the presenters where necessary. She is also extensively involved with coordination of the Kha Ri Gude Literacy Campaign.
About Wim Geldenhuys
Wim is currently a facilitator training project staff in Project Controls based on Earned Value Management Principles. He also assists in setting up Integrated Work Breakdown Structures for major projects. Wim focuses on the project controls processes that identifies all the control accounts that will ensure the success of the project objectives. These processes integrate the scope, schedule, costs, and EPC risks, which is imperative for conducting Integrated Baseline Reviews. Wim assists the team to establish and manage agreed thresholds. He is also experienced in assisting the commercial team in contractual matters by performing delay analysis on major project schedules.
About Karabo Lamola
Karabo, a trainee Project Controller, is being trained in planning, scheduling, costing, monitoring, and controlling schedules. She has worked as a Construction Site Supervisor under Rand Water B19 pipe line construction and performed diverse tasks to ensure that construction projects met deadlines and was completed in a safe and timely manner. She has a clear understanding of Project Controls based on Earned Value Management Principles.
About Jaysen Kgopyane
Jaysen, a trainee, assists with project set-up, developing master schedules, establishing performance measurement baselines, Earned Value Management and associated scope, schedule, and cost progress reports.
About Cuthbert Madimetja Mafemo
Cuthbert, a trainee, has a clear understanding of Project Controls based on Earned Value management principles; setting up Integrated WBS, identifying all the control accounts that will ensure the success of the project objectives, as well as progress assessments, measuring performance, and establishing the true status of a Project.
